NUCCA UPPER CERVICAL CARE

Dr. Shelley was raised in Colfax, Wisconsin in the northwestern part of the state, with no stop signs and more cows than people. She was a high school athlete, running cross country in the fall, basketball during the cold winter months, and track in the spring. Knowing she wanted to be in the medical field, she was interested in taking care of athletes and sports injuries, she was accepted to UW-LaCrosse to study Biology and wanted to become a Physical Therapist. After a tour of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, she decided to attend Chiropractic school. 

She learned about the NUCCA technique through some of her newfound classmates and attended her first NUCCA conference in Chicago, Illinois in 2003. After attending several more conferences as a student and studying NUCCA, she met Dr. Patricia Gregg when she came to Palmer to teach a weekend seminar. Sharing similar beliefs and a passion for NUCCA, Dr. Shelley joined Back N Balance in Austin, TX in 2006. 

Fast forward 14 years and Dr. Shelley has created her own NUCCA practice called Top Atlas Chiropractic. Her passion is to make her practice life-changing for others, whether it is to keep you in shape for the game, running or walking on the trail, or to get you out of pain.  She looks forward to serving you at her new location in Austin.

Her hobbies include: Being entertained by her yellow lab, Arjen, 18 chickens, and 3 ducks,  Gardening and being outside by the water. She also loves working out and being a fitness instructor at The Lagree Studio.
